The Issues & Our Vision

The system is broken.

The current system is confusing, inconsistent, lacking transparency, and difficult for residents to navigate.

Many residents feel ignored, frustrated, and unable to get clear answers.

What Needs to Change

The Assessor’s office should be:

  • Transparent with real data

  • Consistent across all neighborhoods

  • Accessible to every resident

  • Focused on service, not control

After being forced to navigate the appeals and court process himself regarding property assessment and homestead exemption issues, he gained firsthand insight into the frustrations many residents experience when seeking answers, transparency, and fair treatment.

That experience motivates him to pursue meaningful improvements focused on openness, professionalism, consistency, and public trust.
